Trazolan is prescribed for the treatment of depression. It may also be beneficial for alleviating anxiety disorders (such as insomnia and tension) and chronic pain. Additionally, it might be used for other conditions as recommended by your physician. Trazolan belongs to the class of tetracyclic antidepressants and is believed to enhance the activity of serotonin, a brain chemical that helps improve mood.
Take Trazolan shortly after a meal or light snack. It might take between 1 to 4 weeks for Trazolan to take effect. Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor. If you miss a dose while taking Trazolan regularly, take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and return to your normal dosing schedule. Avoid taking two doses simultaneously.
If you experience any of the following common side effects that persist or become bothersome, consult your doctor: blurred vision; constipation; reduced appetite; dizziness; drowsiness; dry mouth; general discomfort; headaches; lack of coordination; light-headedness; muscle aches; nausea; anxiety; insomnia; abdominal pain; nasal congestion; skin swelling; fatigue; or tremors.
Seek immediate medical help if you encounter any severe side effects, including: serious allergic reactions (such as rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); blood in urine; chest pain; fainting; hallucinations; irregular heartbeat; light-headedness upon standing; prolonged, inappropriate, or painful erections; seizures; shortness of breath; stroke; or vomiting.
Store Trazolan at a temperature between 68 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit (20 and 25 degrees Celsius). Brief storage at temperatures ranging from 59 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit (15 to 30 degrees Celsius) is acceptable. Keep it away from heat, moisture, and light, and do not store it in the bathroom. Ensure that Trazolan is kept out of reach of children and pets.
