Possible side-effects The most common side-effects of Androgel (Brand) are headache, mood swings, high blood pressure, acne, abnormal lab tests, skin allergic reactions (itching, redness) or increased red blood cell count. More serious ones include enlargement of prostate gland, increased risk of prostate cancer, a decrease in sperm count and swelling of ankles, feet or body. This list is non-inclusive.
