Pandora is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor used for the treatment of depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, panic disorder, and certain social anxiety disorders. Its active ingredient is Sertraline Hydrochloride, which is categorized as an SSRI. Pandora is specifically utilized to manage major depression linked to mood disorders. Additionally, it is effective for treating body dysmorphic disorder and anxiety.
 
Take Pandora orally with a glass of water, either with or without food. Avoid cutting, crushing, or chewing the medication. Do not take Pandora more frequently than prescribed. It is important not to discontinue use without your doctor’s guidance, as it may take some time for Pandora to be effective. Consult your doctor to determine the appropriate dosage for you. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember; however, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose. If you believe you have taken too much of Pandora, seek emergency medical attention immediately. Overdose symptoms may include chest pain, nausea, an irregular heartbeat, and feelings of light-headedness or fainting.
 
Before starting Pandora, inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it, or if you have any other allergies. Notify your healthcare provider about any history of bipolar disorder, or any issues related to the eyes, liver, or kidneys. Elderly patients may experience heightened sensitivity to the side effects of Pandora. During pregnancy, this medication should only be used when absolutely necessary. Since Pandora can be absorbed through the skin, women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should avoid handling this medication.
 
The most frequently reported side effects include rapid and irregular heartbeats, tremors, anxiety, blurry vision, vomiting, fever, and diarrhea, among others.
