Manufacturer: Ajanta Pharma, India
Pharmaceutical name: Vardenafil
Valif contains Vardenafil HCl as its active ingredient and is employed as an oral treatment for erectile dysfunction in men. Medications such as Valif are classified as phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors.

These medications work by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis when a man is sexually aroused, facilitating blood flow and allowing for a natural erection. Valif is effective only when there is sexual excitement.

Valif is taken orally for the management of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. ED refers to the inability of the penis to become firm and enlarge during sexual arousal, or the inability to maintain an erection. Men experiencing difficulties with erections should consult their doctor if the issue is concerning to them.

Valif is taken as needed. For most individuals, the initial dose is 10 mg, no more than once per day. Depending on effectiveness and tolerance, the dosage may be increased to 20 mg or decreased to 5 mg. For patients aged 65 and older, the initial dose of Valif should be 5 mg. It is advisable to take Valif orally about 60 minutes prior to sexual intercourse. The highest recommended dosage frequency is one tablet daily, and Vardenafil can be taken with or without food.

For best results, take 1 Valif tablet approximately 1 hour (60 minutes) prior to engaging in sexual activity. Some form of sexual stimulation is necessary for an erection to occur with Valif. It can be taken with or without meals.

Valif is not recommended for patients with a known hypersensitivity to Vardenafil or any of the inactive ingredients in Valif tablets. It is also contraindicated to use in combination with nitrates and nitric oxide donors.

The most frequently reported side effects of Valif, affecting at least 2% of patients, include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, dyspepsia, sinusitis, flu-like symptoms, dizziness, increased creatine kinase, nausea, and back pain.

These side effects generally subside after a few hours. If you experience a bothersome side effect or one that persists, contact your doctor.
