Tugain (Minoxidil) Foam 5%

Tugain Foam is a topical treatment designed for individuals experiencing androgenic alopecia or male pattern baldness. The primary component of this formulation is Minoxidil, which is recognized for its ability to stimulate hair follicles, helping to slow down hair loss and promote hair growth.

Tugain Foam is specifically meant for hair loss treatment in men. Clinical evidence suggests that applying Minoxidil twice daily for a minimum of 4 months may be necessary to see signs of hair growth. To effectively reduce hair shedding, Tugain Foam should be used for at least 45 days. It is not recommended for addressing frontal baldness or receding hairlines.

The extent of hair regrowth with Minoxidil varies from individual to individual. Some studies indicate that individuals who have experienced balding for a shorter duration or have a smaller area of baldness on the crown may be more responsive to Minoxidil. Responses to Tugain Foam are unpredictable. It is advisable to consult a Dermatologist before starting Tugain.

Tugain Foam is for external use only and should be applied to clean, dry hair and scalp. Apply 1 ml of foam twice daily at 12-hour intervals to the scalp, starting from the center of the affected area and distributing the solution evenly to cover the whole affected region. The total daily dosage must not exceed 2 ml.

For optimal results, Tugain Foam should be left on the scalp for around 4 hours before washing. When applying at night, ensure it is done 2-4 hours prior to bedtime to allow the solution adequate time to dry.

Tugain Foam should be applied lightly and not massaged into the scalp. Avoid using a hair dryer to hasten drying, as this may reduce its effectiveness. The solution should not be combined with any hair oils.

Do not apply Tugain Foam more than twice a day. If a daily dose is missed, simply resume with the next scheduled application.

Wash hands immediately after applying Tugain Foam with your fingertips. This foam is contraindicated for individuals with a history of hypersensitivity to minoxidil, those with cardiac issues, children under 18 years, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. Do not apply on a shaved or irritated scalp.
