Pack: 1 vial (4 ml (250 mg/ml))
Nebido contains the active substance Testosterone Undecanoate, an ester of the naturally occurring male hormone testosterone.

Testosterone is classified as an androgen. It is produced in the testicles and is the primary hormone crucial for the normal growth and development of male sexual organs and characteristics. The body’s natural production of testosterone is regulated by another group of hormones known as gonadotrophins, which are secreted by the pituitary gland in the brain.

Nebido is referred to as a depot injection. It is administered gradually into the muscle of the buttock, where it creates a reservoir of medication. The testosterone is slowly released over time from this reservoir into the bloodstream. Typically, Nebido is administered once every 10 to 14 weeks, although the specific frequency may vary based on your individual testosterone levels. After the initial injection, you might be required to return for a follow-up injection after just six weeks to ensure that the appropriate testosterone level is attained swiftly.
