Manufacturer: Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
Pharmaceutical name: Minoxidil
Pack: 1 bottle (60 ml (2%))
Morr Solution is applied topically to treat hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in both men and women by inhibiting hair loss and encouraging hair regrowth.
Morr Solution functions as a vasodilator. The exact mechanism by which Morr Solution promotes hair growth on the scalp is not fully understood. It may work by widening blood vessels in the scalp, potentially enhancing hair follicle activity and facilitating hair regrowth.
Use Morr Solution as your doctor prescribes. Refer to the medication label for specific dosing instructions.
Before applying, cleanse your scalp with a gentle shampoo. Ensure your hair and scalp are dry prior to using Morr Solution. After application, wash your hands. Let the solution stay on your scalp for at least four hours before rinsing. Wait about four hours post-application before swimming, and avoid wetting your scalp from rain after the application. Wait for the solution to dry before using other hair care products.
If you miss a dose of Morr Solution, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s nearly time for your next dose, skip the missed one and resume your normal dosing schedule. Do not apply two doses at once.
Consult your healthcare provider with any questions regarding the use of Morr Solution.
Men experiencing male pattern hair loss (MPHL) should consult a dermatologist or hair loss specialist to determine the most appropriate and effective treatment option. Typically, the physician may recommend applying 1ml twice daily, with a maximum total daily dose of 2ml. Apply Morr Solution directly to the bald areas of the scalp, ensuring the area is completely dry beforehand. It may take 2 to 4 hours for the Morr Solution to dry completely; however, avoid using a hairdryer, as this might diminish its efficacy.
Side Effects: sodium retention; water retention; weight gain; peripheral edema; reversible increases in creatinine and blood urea nitrogen; gastrointestinal disturbances; rapid heartbeat; breast tenderness; rashes; and changes in hair color.
