Mintop, which contains the active substance Minoxidil, is classified as a vasodilator medication. The 5% solution is utilized to promote hair regrowth and to reduce hair loss in men experiencing male pattern baldness, hereditary alopecia, and common male baldness. It is most effective for male individuals under 40 years old whose hair loss has recently occurred and should not be applied to receding hairlines.

 

Mintop should be applied topically to a clean, dry scalp twice daily or as directed by a physician. Seek medical advice for the appropriate dosage and duration of treatment, as this will vary based on the patient's condition and their response to the treatment. After consistent application, it may take up to 4 months to observe the results. Do not cease the treatment without consulting a physician, as stopping may lead to the loss of any newly regrown hair.

 

Individuals using Mintop may experience side effects such as headaches; itching, redness, burning, or stinging at the application site; irregular heartbeat; unusual weight gain; chest pain; difficulty breathing; and dizziness.
