Intagra is a rapidly-acting medication that can be effective for up to four hours. It is suitable for men of all ages, regardless of how long they have experienced difficulties in achieving or sustaining an erection.
Intagra inhibits the production of a hormone known as PDE5. It promotes relaxation of the blood vessels around the penis, facilitating increased blood flow during sexual arousal. With Intagra, men are able to easily achieve and maintain a firm erection when sexually stimulated. An erection will only occur in response to sexual arousal and will subside naturally. Even if you have suffered from erectile dysfunction for an extended period, Intagra will begin to take effect immediately.
Intagra should be taken orally with a glass of water. The usual dose is taken about 1 hour prior to sexual activity. It is advised not to take the medication more than once a day. Follow the prescribed dosage without exceeding the directions given.
If you notice any changes in your vision while using Intagra, contact your doctor or healthcare professional promptly. Seek immediate assistance if you experience any changes in your vision. Additionally, reach out to your healthcare provider if an erection persists for more than 4 hours or becomes painful, as this may indicate a serious condition that requires immediate attention to prevent lasting damage.
If you experience nausea, dizziness, chest pain, or arm pain when resuming sexual activity after taking this medication, you should stop the activity and contact your doctor or healthcare professional immediately. It’s important to note that Intagra does not provide protection against HIV infection (the virus that leads to AIDS) or other sexually transmitted infections.
Be sure to report the following side effects to your doctor or healthcare professional as soon as possible: allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, difficulty breathing, changes in hearing or vision, blurred vision, problems distinguishing between blue and green colors, chest pain, rapid or irregular heartbeat, prolonged or painful erection (lasting longer than 4 hours), and seizures.
