Manufacturer: RSM Enterprises
Pharmaceutical name: Finasteride
Pack: 10 pills (1 mg)
The active ingredient in Fenered is Finasteride, which is prescribed for treating male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia) in the crown and mid-scalp areas. Fenered is intended exclusively for adult males. This medication functions by reducing the level of a natural hormone in the body known as DHT. By lowering DHT levels, it promotes increased hair regrowth and slows down hair loss. Finasteride does not affect hair growth in other body areas. Women and children should refrain from using this medication.
Fenered should be taken orally, with or without food, generally once each day, or as advised by your healthcare provider. If the tablet is crushed or broken, it should not be touched by a pregnant woman or one who might become pregnant. To achieve the best results, use Fenered consistently, and aim to take it at the same time daily. It may take up to three months to see noticeable benefits. Ongoing use of Fenered is necessary to preserve hair growth; discontinuing Finasteride often results in loss of any hair gained within 12 months. If your condition remains unchanged or worsens, contact your doctor.
A reduction in sexual drive or ability may occur. Some men might experience a decrease in semen production during sex, which is harmless. If any of these effects continue or worsen, promptly inform your doctor or pharmacist. Remember that your doctor prescribed Fenered based on the belief that its benefits outweigh any potential side effects.
Many users of Fenered do not encounter serious side effects. However, if you experience any of the following unlikely but serious side effects, contact your doctor immediately: a lump in the breast, nipple discharge, enlargement/tenderness/pain in the breast, testicular pain, or difficulty urinating. Although a severe allergic reaction to this medication is rare, seek immediate medical help if it occurs. Symptoms of a serious allergic reaction may include: rash, itching or swelling (particularly of the face, tongue, or throat), severe dizziness, and difficulty breathing.
