Each tablet of Assurans contains - Sildenafil Citrate 20 mg
Sildenafil Citrate is prescribed for treating pulmonary arterial hypertension (WHO Group I) to enhance exercise capacity. The effectiveness of Sildenafil Citrate has not been assessed in patients currently receiving bosentan treatment.
The suggested dosage of Assurans is 20 mg taken three times daily (t.i.d.). Assurans should be consumed about 4-6 hours apart, with or without meals. It is not advised to exceed a dosage of 20 mg t.i.d.
In line with its established effects on the nitric oxide/cGMP pathway, Assurans has been found to amplify the blood pressure-lowering effects of nitrates, making its use in patients taking organic nitrates, whether consistently or occasionally, in any form, contraindicated.
Assurans is not recommended for individuals with a known hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients.
